What is the difference between the Professional and Business licenses?

Professional: Purchased by you, for you. A company cannot purchase the license or reimburse you for it. You may use it at home, work, etc. The license goes with you and is not transferable to anyone else.

Business: Purchased by a company for its employees and/or contractors. Assignable to one user per paid license and can be transferred within the same company.

What is a perpetual license?

A perpetual license grants ongoing rights to use VersionSQL even without an active subscription. Your purchase starts a support & updates subscription; if you later cancel it, you may keep using the latest version that was covered by your subscription.

On this page you can choose either a Subscription (use while active) or Perpetual (keep using forever) license.

How many licenses do we need?

Each person who will use VersionSQL needs a license. Multiple users sharing one machine each need their own license.

Can we pay via PO, invoice, check, wire, ...?

Yes, please request a quote to receive an email with a payable invoice meeting your needs.

Do you offer a discount for educational or non-profits?

Yes, please contact sales for assistance.

Is there a refund policy?

If VersionSQL isn’t a fit, contact support within 30 days of purchase to get a refund.
